This 15¾-inch viola comes from the same period, the same workshop, and the same hands as Liang Zhiling's 2025 Sanremo Gold Medal viola. The same Swiss spruce top plate, the same Bosnian maple back and sides, the same environmentally friendly spirit varnish, the same 15-year air-dried materials—the only difference is the size. The 16-inch viola went to Italy to win the gold medal, while the 15¾-inch viola remains here, waiting for a player who prefers a smaller-bodied viola.
