**Musical Literacy**
Musical perception, teamwork, and emotional expression abilities
Professor Wang Lin is dedicated to building a standardized training system for the chorus, helping children develop collective awareness, musical expressiveness, and emotional communication skills through choral singing. This complements instrumental training, supporting children's holistic growth.
**Teaching Philosophy**
"Instrument and voice are the two legs of music. Learning only an instrument without singing is like walking on one leg—you can move, but not fast or far. What chorus teaches children is not just singing techniques, but the ability to listen, the awareness of harmony, and the perception of beauty."
— Professor Wang Lin
**What Chorus Brings to Children**
Sharper ears—daily tuning with voices greatly improves pitch sensitivity
Better phrasing—understanding vocal breathing makes playing more song-like
Stronger ensemble skills—chorus is the most intuitive multi-voice training
Richer musical expression—from "playing the right notes" to "singing with emotion"
Team awareness—learning to listen to others and cooperate in a group
Stage confidence—singing in front of an audience is the best courage-building exercise
