Teacher Dai Fang served as a violist in the Henan Symphony Orchestra, dedicating years to the symphony and accumulating profound performance skills and extensive stage experience.
In both violin and viola fields, Teacher Dai has achieved high artistic accomplishments—capable of handling the rich, warm timbre of the viola as well as the bright, agile techniques of the violin, with a unique understanding of the performance methodologies for both instruments.
After retirement, Teacher Dai devoted all his energy to music education, using decades of stage experience to enrich his teaching and help more children embark on the right path of learning the violin.
Teacher Dai’s daughter has also inherited his legacy, becoming a violist and currently serving as a performer in the Central Opera House Symphony Orchestra.

A Legacy of Students
Over years of teaching, Teacher Dai Fang has nurtured a large number of outstanding students, many of whom have been admitted to prestigious music institutions such as the Central Conservatory of Music and the China Conservatory of Music, continuing to deepen their professional musical paths.
In the Idyllic Symphony Children’s Orchestra, two of Teacher Dai Fang’s students progressed from a level of 2–3 to become the second violin principal and a key first violin player within two years, fully demonstrating the effectiveness of Teacher Dai’s efficient teaching.
Current Position
Idyllic Symphony Youth Public Welfare Orchestra
Teacher Dai Fang currently serves as the instructor for the B Group of the Idyllic Symphony Youth Public Welfare Orchestra, responsible for systematic teaching of beginners, guiding children into the world of string instruments from bow hold, bowing, and intonation.
